Development Opportunity
The City's overall strategy for this area is to improve the physical environment surrounding the DART light rail station and encourage live/work opportunities. The Forest and Jupiter TIA offers the potential for: transit-oriented development (TOD) opportunities, however these may be limited by surrounding industrial land uses and limited land availability; modernizing and improving the employment tenant mix over time; redeveloping some existing convenience retail with improved tenants and physical appearance; and perhaps introducing limited higher-density residential.
